Company Members

Thin Man Theatre was founded in 2008 while Nikki and Nora were working at New Century Theatre in Northampton, Massachusetts. A LITTLE TIME, produced in Berkeley, CA, was our first production. In March and May of 2010, Thin Man produced THE HALLIE FLANAGAN PROJECT at Smith College.

Nora Mally
(Artistic Director) was born and raised in Irvine, CA. She studies Theatre and History at Smith College. She has worked at South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, California, the Smith College Theatre Department, Opera Pacific's Opera Camp, New Century Theatre, the Northampton Ballet, the University of California Berkeley Theater Department, the New Conservatory Theatre Center, and most recently Imapct Theatre in Berkeley. As a stage manager, playwright, actor and dramaturge Nora is very happy to be Thin Man Theatre's jack-of-all trades.

Nikki Beck (Producing Director) was born and raised in Homer, Alaska. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and French Studies from Smith College. She has worked at Pier One Theatre, the Smith College Theatre Department, New Century Theatre, the New Conservatory Theatre Center, Impact Theatre in Berkeley, CA. Since relocating back to Western Massachusetts, Nikki has worked with the Majestic Theater, PACE Theater, Pioneer Valley Balley, the Academy of Music, and again at New Century Theatre, this time as the Marketing Director. Primarily a director and stage manager, Nikki has experience in company management, lighting design, set construction, scenic painting, electrics work, sound and light board operation, as well as acting.
